Today is a bad day for me, the anniversary of my mom's death. It's been ten years now, so I've been trying to use that milestone as a way of trying to put aside some more of the pain over this, and have been pretty successful. Sadly, however, a friend of ours just lost his mom this week, and we are to go offer condolences at some sort of pre-funeral gathering today, which is interesting timing to say the least. Undeterred, we will make the best of this, and I will still try to use the experience in a positive way. No one needs to feel bad about this, I'm fine. Just over-sharing as usual.
