The Total War Facebook page announces that patch 2 is now out of beta and live for all owners of Total War: ROME II, their historical strategy sequel. Word is patch 3 is already in the works:

Patch 2 is live now! It will be automatically applied to your game on restarted. Patch 3 enters beta testing soon, with changes to battle game-play and further improvements for specific hardware configurations.
