A new patch is now automatically available on Steam for Aliens: Colonial Marines with changes and fixes for Gearbox's first-person shooter, including making "Recruit" mode easier and a fix for world detail particles that may require adjusting the world detail slider to take effect. The unconfirmed report last week that new DLC was due for the game this week did say it would be preceded by a patch.
