A post to the Steam Community forums responds to a question of the value of the just-released Shadow Warrior Classic Redux, as a user noted that Shadow Warrior Classic is still free on Steam. In noting the value they've added to the remastered version, Devolver Digital reveals plans for Linux and multiplayer support in a future update to the game (thanks Ant and Parias). Here's word: :

Shadow Warrior Classic Redux includes remastered visuals of the game and it's two expansion packs, native compatibility with modern PCs, new UI, SteamPlay for PC/Mac, and Steam achievements. Future features will include Linux support and Steamworks supported online play.
