AllThingsD reports that Don Mattrick is leaving Microsoft where he had served as Xbox boss as president of their Interactive Entertainment unit to join Zynga, possibly to serve as CEO at the social game developer. This is unconfirmed at this point, and they attribute the report to "multiple sources close to the situation" and say an announcement could follow today's close of the financial markets.
