NAMCO BANDAI announces plans for Pac-Man games, sending along two different
press releases with contradictory information. One mentions plans to bring a
newly announced TV tie-in called PAC-MAN and the Ghostly Adventures to
Steam as well as consoles, but the other does not mention a Steam version,
just consoles and mobiles. There is also a patch coming to PAC-MAN Championship
Edition DX called PAC-MAN Championship Edition DX+, and one of the press
releases also mentions this is coming to Steam this summer, though the PC
edition is only currently available for Windows 8, and the other release does
not mention Steam either, so there is some confusion there as well. The one
thing both announcements agree on is a Steam version of a compilation called
PAC-MAN Museum coming this winter. We've contacted NAMCO BANDAI for a
clarification of the contradictions, and are told that all three games are
definitely coming to PCs, but they are yet to further clarify the Windows
8/Steam question. In the meantime, here's word on PAC-MAN Museum:
