Patrice Désilets has
filed suit against Ubisoft over the designer's
recent firing, making good on this
statement he made at the time: "Ubisoft’s actions are baseless and without
merit. I intend to fight Ubisoft vigorously for my rights, for my team and for
my game."
GameInformer has the details on about $400K in compensation he is seeking,
along with the right to exercise his "turnaround clause" to take the rights to
1666: Amsterdam upon the game's cancellation. Ubisoft has previously
only admitted to having "suspended" the game
Désilets was designing before his firing.
