Polygon reports that Mike Fischer has parted ways with Square Enix America, where he had served as president and CEO for almost three years, saying he has taken a new post as vice president of digital Music and Video for Amazon in Japan. Square Enix recently reported "extraordinary" losses, but Fisher did not share details of his departure, "noting only that he left on good terms."
