I got my new glasses yesterday, and am very happy with the outcome. They have an anti-glare coating that my old pair did not have, and thus offer an even clearer view than my previous glasses before they got all scratched. They also are supposedly more scratch resistant, so it may be that when I'm ready for a new pair I'll need to sandpaper them or something to get the same dramatic improvement.
