"We'll be giving out some prototypes to customers to gauge their reactions, I guess, in the next three to four months," Valve's Gabe Newell tells the BBC when asked about progress on their "Steam Box" hardware initiative, though he makes no mention of how hardware is impacted by Valve Time. He explains what they are currently working to overcome, which include heat issues (perhaps something you're invoking when you name your hardware a Steam Box) and controller issues, as they are still exploring using controllers for biometric feedback.
