Yesterday I made the batch of chili I mentioned I was working up to, and am pleased with the outcome. The main difference from my last published version of the recipe was a further change to the order of things, as I added the peppers earlier and the flour/chili powder combo last, which makes more sense to me. The pepper setup was five habanero peppers, one ghost pepper, and one 7oz can of chipotles for 7 lbs of meat, which turned out great for MrsBlue and me, though would probably be a little too hot for most tastes.
