HiveMind, the game project Will Wright announced earlier this year, is stuck in legal limbo, reports VentureBeat. Word is Jawad Ansari, an investor in the project, is suing Wright, venture capitalist Raj Parekh, and Wright's Stupid Fun Club to protect his 30% investment in the company, while Wright, in turn, has countersued Ansari. The story sorts through a dizzying array of financial details explaining the process of trying to raise capital for the venture while attempting to retain operational control and not make any moves to restrict the company's future flexibility to make other deals with the large players in the game industry. These various accusations are now set to be decided on by the courts, so for the time being, all the buzz about HiveMind will be about legal developments, rather than game development.
