At the time Activision reported a record of 3.3 million concurrent users on Xbox LIVE, which turns out to be inaccurate, as the military shooter sequel had 3.3 million online users during its first day, but not at the same time. It is not stated how many concurrent users the game achieved, but the 3.3 million users in one day is apparently also a record, surpassing the 2.6 million mark set by Call of Duty: Black Ops.
