Pastapadre.com has word that 2K Sports is shutting down the multiplayer servers for NBA 2K11, just 13 months after the release of the sports simulation. This is by way of Kotaku, where they also report on the unfortunate timing of this in light of their recent report of significant problems with multiplayer play in the newly released NBA 2K12.
