A new interview on GameSpy talks with Anton Sitnikau, producer of World of Warplanes, Wargaming.net's upcoming free-to-play MMO aerial combat game. Along the way he talks about the lessons they've learned from the launch of World of Tanks, talks about aircraft and timeframes covered, and more. He also explains the game's flight model:

"World of Warplanes will represent a mixture of arcade flyer and simulator. We'll deliberately make the controls simple, as we want our players to focus on the battle itself but not on operating the aircraft. However, behind the simplified controls and unobtrusive interface are rather deep game mechanics, that will determine the flight model and damage system."
