Hothead Games announces The Baconing, "a new stand-alone experience about the mythology of the Bacon Fires" due for release this summer for Windows, OS X, "and other formats." There aren't any further details on the game other than what's quoted above, but lest anyone think that a delicious title is all they have cooked up for this project, they offer this teaser trailer, though that seems to indicate that this is precisely the case (and that the title wasn't even their first choice). Presumably more information will precede the game's release.
