Last night I realized that Hudson the wonder dog was planning a night out before we turned in. I called her in from the backyard and she emerged from a favorite spot under a giant forsythia. I might have considered indulging her desire to be a wild dog for the night, but it was pretty wet out there, though this clearly bothered me more than it did her.
