Happy Cinco de Mayo! As noted last year, this celebration of Mexican heritage is apparently far more widely celebrated here in the U.S. than in Mexico. According to the Wikipedia, the occasion started getting traction here in the 1980s when beer companies began promoting it. I'll drink to that!
