GameInformer has word via French Canadian website Rue Frontenac that THQ has been C-blocked (court blocked) from attempting to lure employees from Ubisoft Montreal to THQ's upcoming Montreal studio. The THQ studio is still gearing up waiting for Patrice Désilets' non-compete clause to expire, and the court found Désilets in violation of this clause by hiring former colleagues from Ubisoft Montreal. This was followed by overtures from THQ to other Ubisoft developers through former Ubisoft employee Adolfo Gomez-Urda, who has now been added to this injunction.
