Tonight is the moon's closest perigee in 18 years, as well as a full moon. Some have expressed fears that this so-called "super moon" is behind the Japanese earthquake and may possibly cause other natural disasters, but scientists have debunked these concerns. I have not, however, seen any indications that this will not cause a plague of super werewolves, so thankfully I have a stockpile of silver bullets.
