Today is the third Monday in February, which makes it Presidents Day here in the U.S., though it seems the official Federal holiday is still known as Washington's Birthday (which is actually tomorrow). As always we will single out a few presidents for the occasion: With another heavy snowstorm today, and since William Henry Harrison was already commemorated for succumbing to pneumonia, today we are choosing to recognize Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, George H.W. Bush, since they are the presidents who presided over the Cold War.
