THQ has picked up the license to create a series of video games based on Voltron, from Voltron: Defender of the Universe, the 1980s animated series, reports Variety. The first game is expected to appear this fall in conjunction with a new series of cartoons that will reboot the series. The article also says a live action movie and (naturally) a new series of Voltron toys are also in the works.
