The Grammy Awards were held last night to honor the people who create the music for BitTorrent. Along with awards for Lady Gaga, Lady Antebellum, and Lady Godiva, the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences awarded the Grammy for best instrumental arrangement with an accompanying vocalist to Baba Yetu by Christopher Tin. This was composed as the theme song for Sid Meier's Civilization IV, marking the first time a song from a video game has earned such an honor. Ars Technica has explains that this song from a six year old game won a current award because it was included on Tin's 2009 album Calling All Dawns.
