Eidos Montreal's lead writer talks about working on a series that's had only two installments in over a decade, her role on the project, the general lack of recognition for game writing, defends the game's preorder incentives, and discusses the challenges of following up a game with such a loyal fan base, saying, "you as a writer, you don't own that story. A lot of people own that story, and the people who play it own that story. They get very passionate about it and it becomes their story, so they get very upset if you make the slightest change to their story."
