A thread on the Steam Users' Forums announces the availability of a new beta version of the Steam client. A number of changes are included, most notably a new feature allowing players to take screenshots within any game that uses DirectX 9 or later, with screenshots being saved to the steam cloud. This forum thread hosts discussions of this new feature. To check out the beta, follow these instructions: "To access the Beta, go to File -> Settings.
