Warface Officially Announced

The Crytek Website has the official announcement of Warface, following the revelation of plans for their next project first hinted at well over a year ago. The game is a free-to-play online first-person shooter for PCs set in the near future which will offer "a cinematic experience with next gen visuals," and "a constantly updated extensive PVE universe full of dramatic multiplayer co-op missions, a full set of class based PVP." The game is being co-produced by Crytek Seoul, and is being targeted specifically at "the Korean and other Asian markets," so there's no word at this time on whether to expect this for western markets as well. "Our passion is to always deliver the best gaming experience possible. That’s why we opened our Crytek Seoul office in 2008 which today enables us to offer a game that is tailored to suit its market. We’re excited to debut with Warface in South Korea and to deliver a compelling and truly unique experience soon," says Cevat Yerli, CEO & President of Crytek.
