Perpetuum Online Launch Plans

Avatar Creations announces a launch date for Perpetuum Online, saying the science fiction MMOG will launch on November 25 at 18:00 CET (2:00 pm EST), offering gameplay in a single unsharded world where the actions of players "have permanent consequences which can only be changed by other players or the natural physics of the game world." The client will be a free download, but the game will carry a monthly subscription fee of €8.95/$9.95. About a week remains to check out the Perpetuum Online open beta test, which will conclude next Thursday, and players who purchase Early Access Subscriptions will be entitled to begin playing a week early on November 18. Word is: "These subscriptions, priced at the usual monthly fee of €8.95/$9.95 depending on the region, will include 7 days of playtime prior to the official launch, 30 days of normal playtime following launch, and 4 weeks of extra extension points." Here's a bit more on the game itself:

In the sci-fi world of Perpetuum players engage in exploring the alien planet of Nia with huge robots. Remotely controlling these robots from Earth, players are thrown into a foothold situation where they need to build a stable economy while battling the natives and rogue human agents, all in order to supply Earth with precious energy.
