Well, today is "fall back" day in these parts, as daylight saving time ended today at (the first) 2:00 am. It's always nice to steal some extra sleep on this day, which is the true longest day of the year at 25 hours, in spite of what people think is represented by the Northern/Summer Solstice. On the other hand, I will re-voice my annual complaint about standard time, as I'd prefer to stick to DST all year so the sun would still be out at 6:00 pm, as I find the earlier sunsets do nothing to ease the depressing aspects of the winter.
