Finnish game developer Frozenbyte announce the Mac edition of Trine is now available through Steam, where the action platformer is on sale at a 75% discount in celebration (those who have already bought the Windows version through Steam are entitled to the SteamPlay Mac edition for free). "We're thrilled to release Trine for the Mac with SteamPlay support. Mac has become a viable gaming platform even for games that require a lot of processing and graphics power, such as Trine," said Frozenbyte CEO Lauri Hyvärinen, and continued: "Call me biased, but I think Trine is the perfect game for the Mac." Trine for OS X will be released through other digital distributors later this year.
