On Ubisoft's Cancelled Modern Day PoP Game

Computer and Video Games relates an interesting story of a cancelled Prince of Persia spin-off game that was to use cel-shaded graphics and a modern setting. Ex-Ubisoft art director Jonathan Jacques-Belletęte tells them about this game, which he says was cancelled at the outset of the current console cycle. Here's his description: "So I had this little team, and [our PoP] was actually in the contemporary world. Think a bit Day After Tomorrow, but replace the snow with sand and everything. It was really wicked. But it got cancelled, and then we did all the Far Crys."
