Valve has filed a trademark registration for DOTA, reports superannuation, offering another indication that they have plans to release a Defense of the Ancients-inspired game. Valve hired IceFrog, the developer of this Warcraft III modification, in October 2009, and earlier this year IceFrog said a DOTA announcement was coming soon. Then just last week Voiceover artist Jon St. John tweeted of his work on a DOTA game for Valve.
