IndustryGamers has word on the latest quarterly financial report from Square Enix. Based on strong sales of Final Fantasy XIII they have posted a 1.8 billion yen ($20.9 million) profit for the first fiscal quarter ended June 30. Word is: "This news comes as welcome relief despite a loss of 19.8 million yen from the same period last year. Sales climbed a total of 10% to $377.8 million year over year. The digital entertainment division of Square Enix specifically posted $193 million in sales, with a posted $68.6 million in operating income."
