A new community patch is now available for Gothic 3, unofficially updating the fantasy-themed role-playing sequel from Piranha Bytes to version 1.74. There's an update on the new version on the JoWooD Forums, and the patch is mirrored on The Patches Scrolls. The annotated change list follows.

- ATI/AMD driver bug: Workaround for missing shadows on Radeon 4000/5000 series graphics cards.
