A problem with the recent version 0.5 release has spurred a quick follow-up on the Counter-Strike Alias Binder page, where version 0.51 is now available. It turns out a mix up in the code on the previous release was serious enough that you will basically need the new version to play on Counter-Strike beta 6.0. Also, an update to the Counter-Strike page (thanks Killjoy) gives word on some workarounds for problems folks are having with the new release, which include odd animations (caused by custom models), use of night vision goggles, and lag problems (which it turns out are probably coincidence, since the net code has not changed).
