Blizzard Entertainment announces ticket sales for BlizzCon 2010 will be conducted in two batches on June 2 and June 5, with tickets selling for $150.00 USD. The show, which is scheduled for October 22-23 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA, will once again feature a pay-per-view event on DirecTV, which will cost $39.95 USD. They will also offer a live stream on the internet for that same price (adding that "pricing may vary by region"), though limited coverage of the opening ceremony and certain tournaments will be streamed on the Internet for free. Once again, those who purchase this coverage will earn an exclusive World of Warcraft in-game item, which will be revealed separately. The June 2 tickets will go on sale at 10:00 pm EDT (7:00 pm PDT) and the June 5 batch will go on sale at 1:00 pm EDT (10:00 am PDT). They add: "Those interested in attending BlizzCon can simplify the purchase process by registering a Battle.net account at www.battle.net before ticket sales begin." Here's word on the event itself: "In addition to serving as a gathering place for the different Blizzard Entertainment gaming communities, BlizzCon will have an array of activities, including discussion panels, competitive and casual tournaments, contests, hands-on playtime with current and upcoming Blizzard Entertainment games, and more."
