There's a Split/Second interview on Eurogamer talking with David Jefferies, technical director on Black Rock Studio's upcoming racing game. Along the way the British developer comes as close as we've ever heard to someone actually using the phrase cor blimey: "Pure's engine is based on a core set of libraries called Blimey that have been in development at our studio for the past 10 years. They provide all the basic building blocks for making a game, such as maths functions, serialisation, memory and file management and so on."
