VentureBeat has word on acquisition plans at Nexon, the Korean game publisher with a significant presence in the subscription-free MMOG market. They report Nexon is in negotiations to acquire Sudden Attack and Dekaron developer GameHI. This follows an earlier report that Nexon is acquiring a 67% stake in NDOORS, developers of GoonZu Online (also known as Luminary) and Atlantica Online. Word is: "This acquisition builds on a previous partnership between Nexon and Ndoors, which led to the development KoongPa!, a comic-styled fighting MMO that was in beta for a short time."
