Happy Mother's Day, here in the US, at least, as motherhood is celebrated at various other times internationally. The occasion is, of course, highly commercialized at this point, and apparently the woman who helped establish it here in the US eventually came to criticize this, but it's hard to be too down on the underlying sentiment of the occasion.
