The EVE Insider announces plans for the Tyrannis expansion for EVE Online, CCP's sci-fi MMORPG, saying: "The exact release date will be announced later, but let‘s say that it will happen before the summer solstice." The goal of the ambitious new add-on is to give players control of building their own planetary infrastructure, saying: "In our upcoming expansion, Tyrannis, ALL THESE WORLDS ARE YOURS" (not even holding back on Europa like Bowman did). The update explains more fully what all this means, and clarifies that combat on planets will be added in the future, as this expansion will concentrate on exploration and industry.
