Some Game Crazy locations will be closing, as the rental chain Movie Gallery, the company's parent, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, and will be closing some of its Movie Gallery, Hollywood Video, and Game Crazy stores. This is reported on IndustryGamers, where they say 760 of the company's 1906 U.S. stores will close, though it's not certain how many cuts will be to their approximately 480 Game Crazy stores, but they are guestimating it will be more than 200. The Chapter 11 filing is Movie Gallery's second bankruptcy, which is being entered "to address the company’s capital structure and reorganize its business operations."
