AVault is reporting that Brian Reynolds, who recently left Firaxis studios, has formed Big Huge Games with several other former Firaxis employees. AVault quotes Reynolds as saying, "Big Huge Games will emphasize excellence in all aspects of development, including design, art, technology, and production values," as well as reporting that the company will focus on, "cutting-edge technology." This would seem to be a different vision than that of Firaxis, where the emphasis has always been on gameplay, with technology trailing behind as an afterthought.
