The Runic Games Forums announce the release of the first patch for Torchlight, which updates Runic's action/RPG to version 1.12. There is a manual patch for the Runic Games version that is actually the entire game, as: "The packaged files for the patch changed entirely to improve loading times, so a full reinstall is necessary." Those who have purchased the game from somewhere other than Runic must get their update through its respective vendor. The update has a long list of issues the patch addresses, including some that could overwrite saved games. The Runic patch is mirrored on The Patches Scrolls.
