The Darkest Of Days Website now offers downloads of the modification tools for Darkest of Days, the alternate-reality first-person shooter from 8monkey Labs. Included is the Habitat level editor, mesh editor Toolbag, a Maya plugin for exporting from Autodesk Maya, and Cagebreak, which is for expanding the game data files and generally making things editable. The download is mirrored on AtomicGamer, FileFront, and The Patches Scrolls. Also, Berlin-based publisher The Games Company announces they have acquired the rights to distribute this game in Europe, and we thought this was redundant news, since Steam announced they were distributing the game in Europe a few weeks ago, but we just noticed that news entry has been disappeared from the Steam site.
