Following their recent countdown, MekTek.net now offers a new version 2.3 of Assault Tech 1: BattleTech, their free MechWarrior 2 remake. The release is accompanied by a beta version of MTX, the software distribution client that will facilitate the upcoming free re-release of MechWarrior 4.
