So I fired up Torchlight last night for a quick run around to see how it lives up to the Diablo comparisons. The gameplay mechanics are almost identical, and the differences are usually improvements. I ran around and killed stuff, performed some quests, and had lots of fun. Then I looked up and it was 2:00 am, the perfect proof that the game lives up to the comparison.
