Well it turns out my sore throat is more-or-less unrelated to my LPRD, the doctor found some sort of raging infection brewing in there. He doesn't think it's strep throat, he took a culture to test what it is, but he is already convinced it's bacterial and I'm on an antibiotic that will hopefully take care of things. It seems to be working already, as my voice is far less gravely already.
