Remedy Entertainment has re-released Death Rally for free, offering their violent top-down racing game first released in 1996 updated to work properly under Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7. The 42 MB download is available on their Death Rally Page and it is mirrored on AtomicGamer, Filefront, and Strategy Informer, and there's a forum to discuss the game. This is accompanied by a short Q&A about the release where Remedy's Markus Mäki suggests that they may revisit this franchise, which makes sense since they recently filed a new Death Rally trademark. Markus says: "If there's sufficient interest in the game, more carnage in the form of Death Rally can be considered! But for now Remedy's team is 100% focused on Alan Wake."
