Activision has closed San Francisco-based developer Shaba Games, reports Kotaku, attributing this news to a pair of anonymous "tipsters." According to the report some 30 jobs were lost by the demise of the developer of Spider-Man: Web of Shadows, and sluggish sales of Guitar Hero 5 are mentioned as one of the possible reasons for the move. Shaba Games was formed in 1997, and was acquired by Activision in 2002. Just yesterday it was announced that Activision laid off 30 employees at Scratches developer 7 Studios.
