Steam News announces the release of the promised new patch for Empire: Total War (which is on sale for half-off), updating the RTS sequel to version 1.5, also announcing the release of the Warpath expansion as well as new Special Forces Units & Bonus Content. The patch notes for version 1.5 mention various balance changes and bug fixes, but say nothing about the promised multiplayer maps. Here's a bit on the new Warpath expansion:
