IGN reports that the release of Borderlands is slightly delayed, and Gearbox Software's RPG/shooter will be released in North America on October 26 and internationally on October 30, respectively delays of six and seven days from the game's previously announced release dates (interestingly, October 26 is a Monday, while game releases in the US are usually Tuesdays). The console versions are not effected by this, as word from 2K Games is: "We're optimizing the PC version which takes a few days longer than expected."
